About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic AC Maintenance & Technician Intern to join our technical team. The candidate will assist in the installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning systems.

This opportunity is ideal for an ITI-qualified fresher looking to build practical experience and a career in AC, HVAC, and technical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior technicians in installation and servicing of AC units.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance of air-conditioning systems.
- Assist in diagnosing AC faults and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Support servicing of Split AC, Window AC, Cassette AC and other cooling systems.
- Assist with cleaning filters, coils, blowers, condenser units and other components.
- Assist in checking refrigerant/gas levels and identifying leakage issues.
- Support AC gas charging and recovery under supervision.
- Assist in electrical and wiring-related checks of AC systems.
- Check compressors, capacitors, motors, thermostats and other components.
- Assist in replacement and repair of defective AC components.
- Maintain proper tools, equipment and technical inventory.
- Follow safety procedures while working with electrical and refrigeration equipment.
- Visit client/customer locations for installation, servicing and maintenance when required.
- Maintain basic service reports and records of work completed.

Mandatory Qualification

ITI qualification is mandatory.

Preferred ITI Trades:





- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC)
- HVAC
- Electrician
- Electronics
- Fitter
- Related technical trades

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of AC and refrigeration systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical components and wiring.
- Willingness to work hands-on with technical equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use basic tools and equipment.
- Good learning attitude and discipline.
- Positive communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with senior technicians.
- Willingness to travel to customer/client locations when required.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of refrigerant/gas charging.
- Understanding of compressors, condensers, evaporators and expansion systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical testing tools such as multimeter.
- Knowledge of Split and Window AC servicing.
- Prior practical training in AC/HVAC maintenance.
