About the Role: Hivespace is looking for an experienced and skilled Electrician to handle the electrical and basic facility maintenance requirements of our co-working office. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electrical repairs, AC maintenance, DG operations, wiring, switchboards, fans, lighting systems, and general electrical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle day-to-day electrical maintenance and repair work across the co-working office.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, power supply issues, short circuits, and electrical breakdowns.
- Install, repair, and maintain switchboards, switches, sockets, MCBs, DBs, wiring, lights, and electrical fixtures.
- Carry out maintenance and basic troubleshooting of air-conditioning (AC) systems.
- Operate, monitor, and carry out basic maintenance/troubleshooting of DG sets and power backup systems.
- Handle installation, repair, and maintenance of ceiling fans, exhaust fans, lights, and other electrical equipment.
- Inspect electrical systems regularly and identify potential faults or safety hazards.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize electrical breakdowns and downtime.
- Attend electrical complaints and maintenance requests from the facility/operations team promptly.
- Coordinate with external electricians, AC technicians, DG service providers, and other vendors when specialized repairs are required.




- Maintain basic records of electrical maintenance, repairs, breakdowns, and spare parts used.
- Ensure all electrical work is carried out safely and in accordance with applicable safety practices.
- Support the facility team with other general maintenance requirements whenever required.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrician, preferably in a commercial building, co-working space, office, hotel, mall, or facility management environment.
- Solid knowledge of electrical wiring, switchboards, MCBs, DBs, sockets, switches, lighting, and power distribution.
- Good practical knowledge of AC systems and troubleshooting.
- Experience in DG set operation and basic maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently identify electrical faults and carry out repairs.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and safe handling of electrical equipment.
- Ability to respond quickly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Qualification:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent technical qualification.
- Relevant hands-on experience will be given higher preference.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
