Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled, efficient, and detail-oriented Typist / Stenographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately typing legal documents, transcribing dictation, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to advocates and legal professionals. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment while gaining valuable exposure to legal documentation and office procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Type legal documents, agreements, pleadings, notices, correspondence, and reports with a high degree of accuracy.
- Take dictation and transcribe notes, meetings, and legal proceedings as required.
- Prepare, format, proofread, and maintain legal documents and records.
- Coordinate with advocates, clients,



and administrative staff for documentation and filing requirements.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive legal and client information.

Qualifications

- A minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute (WPM) is mandatory as prescribed by the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, Pune- Government Commercial Certificate Examination.
- Prior experience as a Typist, Stenographer, or Legal Typist will be preferred.
- Excellent command of English with strong grammar, spelling, and formatting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applications.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under time-sensitive conditions.
- Positive organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
