About Vintage Velvet

Vintage Velvet is a premium women’s fashion accessories brand offering handbags, scarves, jewellery, hair accessories, watches, gifting accessories and other lifestyle products.

We are looking for a creative, organised and proactive Social Media & Content Executive who can independently assist in creating, publishing and managing content across our digital channels while also supporting influencer collaborations and website content.

The ideal candidate should have a good visual sense, be comfortable with social media trends, know basic photography and video editing, and be willing to work hands-on in a growing e-commerce company.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management

- Plan, create and publish content for Instagram.
- Create and upload posts, reels, stories and other social media content.
- Regularly update Instagram Stories with products, launches, offers, behind-the-scenes content and other relevant updates.
- Assist in maintaining a consistent posting schedule.
- Reply to comments, messages and customer queries received through Instagram.
- Help maintain the overall visual consistency and premium appearance of Vintage Velvet’s social media pages.
- Monitor social media trends, formats, sounds and content ideas that may be relevant to the brand.

Content Creation

- Shoot product photographs and short-form videos using a mobile phone or camera.
- Create and edit reels for Instagram.
- Edit photos and videos for social media usage.
- Create straightforward graphics, story layouts, promotional creatives and other digital content using Canva or similar tools.
- Assist in styling products for photography and video shoots.
- Develop content ideas for new arrivals, collections, festive campaigns, product features and promotional activities.
- Write simple captions, product-focused copy and supporting content where required.

Influencer Marketing

- Identify suitable influencers and content creators for collaborations.
- Contact influencers through Instagram, WhatsApp, email or other channels.
- Discuss and coordinate collaboration requirements.




- Maintain records of influencer conversations and collaborations.
- Coordinate product selection and dispatch for influencer collaborations.
- Follow up with influencers for content delivery.
- Ensure agreed reels, stories, posts or other deliverables are completed.
- Collect and organise influencer-created content for future brand usage.
- Track the basic performance and outcome of collaborations.

Website Content

- Update banners, images and other content on the Vintage Velvet website when required.
- Assist with product photographs and content updates.
- Update collection images and other visual elements of the website.
- Assist with small website content changes and landing pages.
- Ensure website visuals and content remain consistent with current campaigns and collections.
- Check uploaded content for spelling, visual quality and accuracy.

Pinterest & Other Platforms

- Upload and organise relevant content on Pinterest.
- Create Pinterest pins using existing brand content.
- Maintain basic consistency between Instagram, Pinterest and website content.
- Assist with additional digital channels introduced by the company in the future.

Campaign Support

- Assist in executing festive, seasonal and promotional campaigns.
- Prepare required social media content before campaign launches.
- Coordinate campaign photographs, reels, stories and website content.
- Assist with WhatsApp campaign creatives or content where required.
- Work closely with the founders on campaign concepts and execution.

Content Organisation

- Maintain organised folders of photographs, videos, reels and other digital assets.
- Ensure original and edited content is properly named and stored.
- Maintain a usable archive of product photography and campaign content.
- Keep track of pending content, scheduled content and completed work.

General Responsibilities

As Vintage Velvet is a growing company,



the role may occasionally involve assisting with other related marketing, e-commerce or office activities when required.

The employee should be comfortable taking ownership, learning new tools and helping wherever reasonably required.

Skills Required

- Good understanding of Instagram and social media.
- Comfortable shooting photographs and videos on a smartphone.
- Basic to intermediate reel/video editing skills.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools.
- Good written English.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good aesthetic and visual sense.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with influencers and customers.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to organise files and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn Shopify and other e-commerce tools.
- Ability to work independently after receiving instructions.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

- Fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Jewellery, handbags, apparel or accessories.

- Reel/video editing.

Previous formal experience is helpful but strong practical skills, creativity and willingness to learn are equally important.

- Execute campaigns reliably and on time.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
