Job Purpose

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting the project team in maintaining quality standards, conducting inspections, preparing quality documentation, and ensuring that electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor the quality of electrical installation and execution activities at project sites.
- Inspect electrical materials received at site and verify them against approved specifications and documents.
- Ensure electrical works are carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Clients for quality-related matters.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IR), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), checklists, and quality records.
- Review and maintain technical documents, test reports, material inspection reports, and certificates.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify quality issues or deviations.
- Assist in preparing NCRs, corrective action reports,



and closure documentation wherever required.
- Follow up with the project team for timely closure of quality observations and non-conformities.
- Maintain proper records of inspections, testing, approvals, and quality-related correspondence.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors regarding quality requirements and documentation.
- Assist in preparing project quality dossiers and handover documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation of testing and commissioning activities.
- Support the Senior Quality Engineer / Project Manager in implementing the project Quality Plan.
- Report quality concerns and project deviations to the reporting manager.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of electrical installation and project execution.
- Good understanding of electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents.
- Knowledge of quality inspection and documentation.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and documentation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valuable coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work at project sites and coordinate with multiple teams.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility for assigned activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 1–2 years of experience in Electrical EPC / Construction / Infrastructure projects.
- Candidates with experience in HT/LT electrical works, testing, inspection, and quality documentation will be preferred.
- Candidates who are comfortable working at project sites and coordinating with project teams will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
