About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our remote accounting team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities and ensuring that financial records are accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping records.
- Record and categorize income and expenses accurately.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Review invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare accounting schedules and reports.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting files.
- Communicate with clients and team members for missing information or clarification.
- Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.

Requirements





- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is an advantage.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility for assigned work.

Preferred

- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting for Canadian businesses.
- Knowledge of Canadian GST/HST is an advantage.
- Previous experience with remote accounting work is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
