- JOB DESCRIPTION FOR INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEER
- Candidate & Experience: Instrument & Control Engineer with minimum 7 to10 years experience
- (for Sr/Lead Engineer) in Oil & Gas /Refineries & Petrochemical and Infrastructure Engineering.
- Qualification: Minimum Graduate Engineering in Instrumentation & Control
- NOTE: CANDIDATE WITH LOWER EXPERIENCE (2 TO 6 YRS) HAVING EXPOSURE TO FIELD INSTRUMENTS
- AND CONTROL ROOM INSTRUMENTS ENGINEERING WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED.
- SKILLS PROFILE REQUIREMENT:
- Front End Engineering Design (FEED)/Basic Engineering
- Detail Design Engineering.
- Modernization and Upgradation of obsolete instruments.
- Familiar with International design and engineering standards like ANSI, ISO, API, BP, IEC, and ISA.
- Risk Analysis/Hazardous and Operability analysis.
- Manhour estimation and Cost estimation for instrumentation
- Fieldbus Technology.
- DCS systems, ESD System, F&G; System, Turbo Compressor Control systems.
- Familiar with INTOOLS & PDS packages.
- Exposure to E3D & SP3D and AVEVA INSTRUMENT & SMART PLANT INSTRUMENT
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-  Basic and Detailed Engineering.
-  Inputs to P&ID; Preparation and Finalization of P&IDs;
-  Preparation and Review of Cause and Effect, and Logic Diagrams.
-  SIL determination level study by LOPA method.
-  Calculation notes for Power and Instrument Air consumption, Control Valve, Flow Elements, and
- Safety relief valve
-  Preparation and Review of Datasheets for all types of Field instrument which includes;
- Control Valves/ ONOFF, ESD Valves/ Relief Valves
- Pressure, Temperature, Level, Flow Instruments, Orifice plates and Misc. Instruments.




- Tank Gauging System (RADAR and Servo Gauges)
-  Preparation and Review of Specification for all types of Field instrument which includes;
- Control Valves/ ONOFF, ESD Valves, Motor Operated Valves and Relief Valves

- Instrumentation and Control design basis,
- Instrumentation Control / Safeguarding Systems Interface Philosophy,
- Instrument / Electrical Interface specification
-  Functional Design Specifications for Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS), Telecom
- equipment like Radio Scada, CCTV, Radio hand set, Telephones, VHF & UHF systems
-  Preparation and Review of Technical Bid Analysis for Systems and Field Instruments.
- Instrument schedule, including updating, Interlock (safety and shutdown) logic schematic
- diagrams.
-  Preparation of Instrument location drawings, Instrument Trench, cable layout, air piping supply,
- impulse piping/tubing, equipment layout drawing in control rooms, rack rooms, and computer
- rooms,



Panel drawings and schematics (both local and central), cabinets, rack layouts, including
- instrument allocations, Terminal layout drawings, Console wiring diagrams, System Highway
- Block Diagrams, Graphic Layout drawings, Instrument loop diagrams, cable schedules and JB
- schedules, MIMIC/Matrix Panels, Earthing Layouts, Instrument cable Block Diagrams, Junction /
- Marshalling Box termination diagrams, Control System, instrument location and F&G; system
- architecture drawing.
-  Adequacy reports for existing Instruments, control valves and safety relief valves.
-  Instruments index, DCS / ESD/F&G;: I/O list, and alarm/trip list.
-  SR and MR for Instruments, control valves and F&G; systems.
-  MTOs including field instruments and installation materials.
-  Prepare detailed testing, PRECOMMISSIONING procedures, Construction and
- PRECOMMISSIONING plan / method statement, Prepare As-Built Documentation.
-  Participation in FAT/SAT and IFAT for all equipment in conjunction with COMPANY participation
-  Coordination, control and supervision of field instrumentation teams.
-  Participation in Studies such as HAZOP/HAZID/SIL etc. Assist the purchase department with the
- order placing of the components and review the related vendor prints.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mulund, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
