Position Summary:
The Medical Director will serve as the clinical and ethical compass of GIRAH Care. You will oversee medical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, drive protocol standardization, and manage the quality of clinical care delivered by our mobile doctors, nurses, and technicians. This role is critical in building clinical credibility, regulatory readiness, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Clinical Governance:
- Develop and enforce medical care protocols, SOPs, treatment pathways, and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee service safety, infection control, and continuous improvement in patient care.
Workforce Leadership:
- Lead the hiring, training, and credentialing of doctors, nurses, and paramedics.
- Supervise clinical staff performance, provide mentorship, and resolve escalated cases.
- Conduct periodic training in patient interaction, mobile diagnostics, and app usage.
Regulatory and Compliance:
- Ensure GIRAH Care complies with NABH, Clinical Establishments Act, and state health regulations.
- Maintain licensure standards and medical documentation protocols for all staff.
- Oversee malpractice risk mitigation and guide legal-medical strategy.
Strategic Advisory:
- Collaborate with the CEO, product team, and technology developers to embed clinical logic into digital tools (e.g., triage flows, diagnostic recommendations, e-prescriptions).
- Represent the company in medical boards, investor pitches, and policy discussions.
- Provide medical insight into business expansion plans and new service lines.
Quality & Audit:
- Monitor patient satisfaction, treatment outcomes, and feedback systems.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) on critical incidents or service failures.
- Initiate quality improvement (QI) projects to enhance patient safety and care delivery.
Eligibility Criteria:Education:
- MBBS (mandatory) from an MCI-recognized medical college.
- MD/DNB in Family Medicine, General Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine (preferred).
- Additional qualifications in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Quality, or Public Health are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of clinical experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or medical director role.
- Proven track record in clinical governance, compliance, or healthcare innovation (home care, telehealth, or digital health).
Desired Skills:
- Deep understanding of Indian healthcare regulations and ethics.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage distributed, mobile teams.
- Familiarity with digital health tools, EMR/EHR systems, and patient management apps.
- Strategic thinking aligned with startup growth dynamics.

Pay: ₹475,702.14 - ₹2,109,291.84 per year
