About the Role
PRIMA is looking for a qualified and patient-focused Nutritionist to support patients with personalised nutrition and lifestyle guidance related to skin health, hair health and overall wellness.
The candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience in clinical nutrition, nutrition counselling, wellness, healthcare or a related field.
The role involves assessing patients' dietary habits, providing practical nutrition plans, conducting counselling sessions and coordinating with the dermatology team where required.
Key ResponsibilitiesNutrition Assessment
- Conduct one-on-one nutrition consultations.
- Assess patients' dietary habits, lifestyle and nutritional requirements.
- Identify potential nutritional gaps relevant to the patient's concerns.
- Understand dietary preferences, restrictions and lifestyle factors.
- Maintain accurate nutrition consultation records.
Nutrition Planning
- Develop personalised and practical nutrition plans.
- Provide nutrition guidance supporting healthy skin and hair.
- Provide dietary guidance for patients undergoing dermatology and hair-restoration treatments where appropriate.
- Recommend sustainable dietary and lifestyle changes.
- Review and modify nutrition plans based on patient progress.
Patient Counselling
- Explain the relationship between nutrition, lifestyle, skin health and hair health.
- Conduct regular counselling and follow-up sessions.
- Motivate patients to follow recommended nutrition and lifestyle changes.
- Address patient concerns and challenges regarding adherence.
- Maintain a supportive and patient-friendly approach.
Clinical Coordination
- Coordinate with dermatologists and the clinical team.
- Ensure nutrition recommendations complement the patient's overall treatment plan.
- Share relevant observations with the clinical team when required.
- Refer medical or clinical concerns to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Work within the professional scope of the nutrition role.
Patient Follow-up
- Track patient progress and adherence.
- Conduct scheduled follow-ups.
- Maintain proper documentation of recommendations and patient progress.
- Coordinate appointments with the front-office team.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of nutrition consultations
- Patient follow-up completion

Candidate Profile
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, Food & Nutrition or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of nutrition and diet planning
- Understanding of nutrition related to skin and hair health
- Strong patient counselling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic and patient-centric approach
- Positive documentation skills
- Ability to develop practical nutrition plans
- Strong follow-up skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and clinical staff
Language Skills: English and Tamil preferred.
