Sri Deepam Engineering is a precision machining and fabrication company serving the Machine Tool, Valve & Pump, and Automotive industries. As we continue to expand our manufacturing capabilities, we are looking for a Quality Incharge with hands-on experience in CNC Machining, Welding Fabrication, and Assembly Inspection.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform in-process and final inspection of CNC machined components.
- Inspect fabricated and welded assemblies as per engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
- Verify welding quality, fit-up, alignment, and assembly standards.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process inspection, and final quality clearance.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and traceability documentation.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with Production, Fabrication, and Assembly teams to improve product quality.
- Support customer inspections and quality audits.
- Promote continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.

Required Skills

- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in CNC Machining Quality Inspection is mandatory.




- Good exposure to Welding Fabrication and Assembly Inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and welding symbols.
- Hands-on experience with quality inspection instruments, including:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer (Inside & Outside)
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Dial Indicator
- Depth Gauge
- Surface Plate
- Thread Gauges
- Plug & Ring Gauges
- Bevel Protractor
- Feeler Gauge
- Knowledge of welding inspection methods and dimensional verification.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in Machine Tool, Valve & Pump, Automotive, or General Engineering industries.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems is an added advantage.
