Job Description – Quality Engineer (Electrical)

Location: IOCL Panipat, Haryana
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Hiring: Urgent

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards.
- Support Site Engineers in day-to-day work execution while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Inspect electrical installations, materials, equipment, and workmanship at the project site.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, checklists, and test records.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, and project teams for quality-related activities.
- Ensure electrical work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Identify quality issues/non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
- Monitor testing and commissioning activities and maintain proper records.
- Assist during client/internal inspections and ensure timely closure of observations.




- Coordinate with project teams to resolve site-related technical and quality issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting of daily quality and execution activities.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in electrical quality/QC and site execution.
- Good knowledge of electrical drawings, installation practices, inspection procedures, and quality standards.
- Robust coordination, communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Site Engineers, contractors, and project teams.
- Candidates available to join immediately or at short notice will be preferred.
