Looking for software test automation engineer with a minimum of 4+ years experience having worked in diverse web and mobile application testing with thorough knowledge in selenium, playwright or similar scripting languages. Must work during the night shift in person at office in Madhapur, Hyderabad.

Prefer someone who can demonstrate expertise in low code/no code AI testing tools like katalon and who stays abreast of AI technology changes and using tools like Claude to automate/improve job functions.

High level of initiative, communication, accountability, and dependability is required.

Moderate to high proficiency in SQL querying is required.

This job has a component of end user support that requires learning and understanding business use case, investigating reported issues, and working with development team to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Automation Testing:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright for web applications.
- Implement test automation frameworks and ensure re-usability across projects.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing for consistent user experiences.
- Load and Performance Testing:
- Design and execute performance and load tests using tools like K6 to evaluate application scalability and reliability.
- Analyze load testing results and provide actionable insights to optimize system performance.
- Functional Testing:
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Ensure the software meets business and user requirements through manual and automated test cases.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with developers to debug and troubleshoot issues.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups,



and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the development of test plans, strategies, and detailed test cases.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Document test cases, scripts, and testing procedures.
- Utilize JIRA for bug tracking, task management, and maintaining test execution logs.
- Prepare detailed test reports and summaries for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation and load testing.
- Proficiency in Selenium or Playwright for automation testing of web applications.
- Hands-on experience with K6 or similar tools for load testing (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- Understanding of performance metrics like throughput, latency, and error rates.
- Experience in using JIRA for managing test cases, bugs, and project workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or C#) for test automation.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams.
