Recruitment & HR Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Ludhiana, Punjab
Industry: Forging & CNC/VMC Machining
Experience: 5–10 Years Preferred

We are looking for a hands-on Recruitment & HR Manager with strong knowledge of the Ludhiana industrial labour market and an established local network for hiring skilled, semi-skilled and technical manpower.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end recruitment for manufacturing operations.
- Source and hire Forging Hammer Operators/Workers, CNC & VMC Operators/Setters, Grinding Operators, Cutting Operators, Fitters, Electricians, Helpers and other shop-floor manpower.
- Recruit technical/staff positions including QA, QC, MR, Production, Maintenance, Stores and Supervisory personnel.
- Develop and maintain strong contacts with local workers, manpower contractors, recruiters, ITIs, Polytechnics, skill centres and employee referral networks.
- Maintain a ready database/pipeline of skilled manpower for urgent requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, practical trials, salary negotiations and joining.
- Track employee retention and reduce early-stage attrition.
- Handle employee onboarding, attendance,



documentation, grievances, discipline and other routine HR & allied activities.

Candidate Requirements

- 5–10 years' experience, preferably in Forging, Machining, Auto Components, Fasteners, Steel or Engineering Manufacturing.
- Strong existing recruitment network in Ludhiana and surrounding industrial areas is essential.
- Proven ability to recruit shop-floor manpower quickly.
- Valuable knowledge of Ludhiana labour market and salary levels.
- Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Punjabi and Hindi required; working English preferred.
- Candidates with only corporate/IT/office recruitment experience may not be suitable.

Key Requirement: We need a person who can receive an urgent requirement for hammermen, CNC/VMC operators, grinders, cutting operators or technical staff and know where to source suitable candidates in Ludhiana, arrange trials/interviews and ensure actual joining.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
