Job Title: DB2 z/OS System Administrator / DBA

We are looking for an experienced DB2 z/OS Administrator/DBA to manage, support, and optimize enterprise DB2 environments. The role involves DB2 administration, performance tuning, upgrades, backup/recovery, troubleshooting, and supporting high-availability systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade DB2 for z/OS.
- Handle DB2 migrations, maintenance, and data sharing environments.
- Monitor and improve DB2 performance and availability.
- Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot database and production performance issues.
- Work with application and infrastructure teams during incidents.
- Support DB2 integration with z/OS, CICS, IMS, MQ, RACF, and storage systems.

Required Skills

- Strong experience with DB2 for z/OS Administration.
- Experience with REORG, RUNSTATS, COPY, RECOVER and other DB2 utilities.
- Knowledge of DB2 performance tuning, SQL diagnostics, and buffer pools.




- Experience with z/OS, disaster recovery, and production support.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Exposure to Windows Server, VMware, Cloud, or migration projects is an advantage.

Positive to Have

- IBM DB2 certification.
- OMEGAMON, BMC MainView or similar monitoring tools.
- REXX, CLIST, Ansible or automation experience.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Parallel Sysplex, GDPS, Active Directory, or ADFS.

Ideal Candidate: Someone with strong DB2/Mainframe administration experience who is comfortable working in large enterprise and mission-critical environments.
