Position: Accounts Officer – Railway Tendering Business
Location: Patiala Punjab
Experience: 2–5 years preferred (experience with Government / Railway billing preferred)
Job Description:
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to handle billing, payment follow-ups, and documentation related to Railway tenders and contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of bills on GeM Portal and Railway portals.
- Follow-up with railway departments for Receipt Notes (R-Note) and CRAC to ensure timely payment processing.
- Regular follow-up for payment collection against submitted bills.
- Preparation and management of PVC (Price Variation Clause) related documentation.
- Maintaining all tender and billing documentation for railway projects.
- Preparing commission bills as per agreements with partner companies for railway liaisoning work.
- Coordinating with railway officials and internal teams for documentation and payment processing.
- Maintaining proper accounting records and payment tracking.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of GeM portal and Railway billing systems preferred.
- Valuable understanding of accounts, billing, and documentation.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting records.
