About the Role

CGC Landran invites applications from qualified, passionate, and experienced professionals for the position of Assistant Professor – Food Production in the Department of Hotel Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theory and practical classes in Food Production as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging lectures, demonstrations, and practical sessions.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessment tools.
- Supervise students during kitchen practicals and ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, practicals, and viva-voce.
- Mentor and guide students in academics, projects, internships, and career development.
- Participate in departmental activities, workshops, seminars, and academic events.
- Maintain required academic records, attendance, lesson plans,



and assessment documentation.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching methodologies.
- Coordinate with industry professionals and support industry exposure, training, and placement activities.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Hotel Management
- Specialization or strong academic/industry experience in Food Production
- Candidates with prior teaching experience in Hotel Management institutes will be preferred.
- Relevant industry experience in professional kitchens, hotels, resorts, or hospitality establishments will be an added advantage.
- Valuable communication, presentation, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
