As the Deputy Manager - Algo Colo Operations, you'll play a crucial role in managing the functional approvals for algo-trading and Colocation space which would be submitted by Members / Clients interested in trading on the Exchange platform. This role requires a solid blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, understanding of trading strategies, managing operations for the function, ensuring regulatory integrity and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Approvals: Manage operational processing of approvals made by Members for availing of Colocation facilities and Algorithmic Trading.
System Demos: Conduct demos of systems for which proposals have been received and validate proposal vis-vis system as well as regulatory norms.
Ongoing Compliance: Manage ongoing compliances of Members who have been granted approval for Colocation.
Deployment and Upgrades: Assist in the deployment of new trading systems and software updates. Ensure changes are implemented smoothly and with minimal impact on live trading operations.
Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for all operational procedures.
Vendor Communication: Work with vendors and service providers to coordinate at time of product upgrades,
market mocks etc.
Technical Expertise
- Familiarity with co-location infrastructure and basic understanding of algorithmic trading workflows
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or basic Python for data extraction and analysis
- Knowledge of SEBI regulations related to algo trading and co-location
- Understanding of network latency and order flow
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of SQL, Excel, or Python for data extraction and reporting

Experience
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in securities, Broking, Exchange, Fintech Industry experience preferred
