Job Summary

Gotech Digi Marketing Solutions is looking for a Shopify Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Shopify store development and customization.

The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify themes, Metafields, Shopify apps, API integrations, and e-commerce development.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, optimizing, and maintaining Shopify stores for different client projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customize Shopify websites and e-commerce stores.
- Customize Shopify themes according to client requirements.
- Convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive Shopify websites.
- Develop custom Shopify sections, templates, snippets, and components.
- Work with Shopify Liquid, Metafields, Metaobjects, and Theme Editor.
- Integrate Shopify apps and third-party services.
- Work on payment gateway and shipping integrations.
- Manage Shopify products, collections, variants, discounts, and store settings.
- Optimize Shopify websites for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
- Implement basic Shopify SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and fix Liquid, JavaScript, theme, app, and integration issues.
- Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Test websites before deployment and identify/fix bugs.
- Work with APIs and custom integrations when required.
- Coordinate with UI/UX designers, SEO specialists, marketers, and project managers.
- Handle multiple Shopify projects and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain and update existing Shopify websites.

Required Skills

- 1–2 years of professional experience as a Shopify Developer.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify and Shopify Theme Development.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid.
- Good knowledge of HTML5,



CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Shopify theme customization.
- Experience with Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of Metafields and Metaobjects.
- Understanding of responsive and mobile-first web development.
- Knowledge of e-commerce website development.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of Shopify SEO and website performance optimization.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have

- Shopify Plus experience.
- Shopify API knowledge.
- Experience with custom Shopify app integrations.
- Experience working with live Shopify stores.
- Experience converting Figma designs into Shopify.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals and website speed optimization.
- Previous experience working in a digital marketing or web development agency.
