Job Title: Cosmetic Manufacturing Chemist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cosmetic Manufacturing Chemist to join our production team. The role involves formulating, testing, and overseeing the manufacturing process of cosmetic and personal care products while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, test, and scale-up formulations for cosmetic and personal care products (e.g., creams, lotions, serums, shampoos, etc.).
- Assist in the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
- Conduct raw material evaluation and stability studies for new and existing products.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, FDA, and other relevant cosmetic regulations.
- Monitor and control manufacturing processes to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot formulation and production-related issues.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Quality Control (QC), and Quality Assurance (QA) teams for product approval and release.
- Maintain accurate laboratory and production documentation.




- Provide technical support for packaging compatibility studies.
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals and adherence to workplace safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in cosmetic formulation or manufacturing .
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, active ingredients, and excipients.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO 22716, and regulatory guidelines (BIS, FDA, EU standards).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using laboratory instruments and manufacturing equipment.
- Solid attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team workplace.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
