Position: Asst manager production planning
Department: Planning / Production

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain detailed production and project plans based on customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in coordination with Production, Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
- Monitor production progress against planned schedules and identify delays or bottlenecks.
- Prepare and track MIS reports, planning reports, production reports, and project progress reports.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and consumables.
- Follow up with the Production team to ensure timely completion of planned activities.
- Analyze manpower, machine capacity, material availability, and production requirements for effective planning.
- Prepare Material Requirement Plans (MRP) and monitor material requirements.
- Track WIP, production output, pending orders, and delivery commitments.
- Identify critical activities and take corrective actions to achieve delivery targets.
- Coordinate with Design and Engineering teams for drawing/BOM availability and revisions.




- Maintain proper documentation and planning records.
- Participate in production review meetings and provide regular status updates to management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce lead time, and optimize resources.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC).
- Good understanding of engineering manufacturing, fabrication, sheet metal, and machine assembly processes.
- Knowledge of BOM, MRP, routing, capacity planning, and scheduling.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/MRP software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict delivery schedules.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience in engineering manufacturing, fabrication, agricultural equipment, sheet metal, machinery manufacturing, or similar industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
