We are looking for a responsible, friendly, and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to handle billing, payments, cash management, and basic customer service. The cashier should ensure that all transactions are accurate and that customers receive a smooth and pleasant billing experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer billing accurately and efficiently.
- Receive cash, UPI, card, and other approved payment methods.
- Generate bills and provide receipts to customers.
- Verify prices, discounts, offers, and payment amounts before closing bills.
- Maintain accurate records of daily cash and digital transactions.
- Reconcile the cash drawer and payment collections at the end of each shift.
- Coordinate with service staff and kitchen regarding billing corrections or order-related issues.
- Handle customer questions regarding bills politely and professionally.
- Ensure proper handling and security of cash.
- Report any billing discrepancies, shortages, or excess collections immediately to the manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the cashier counter.
- Follow restaurant policies and standard operating procedures.




- Support the restaurant team during busy breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant, hotel, supermarket, or similar business is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of POS/billing systems.
- Comfortable handling cash, UPI, and card payments.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Honest, punctual, responsible, and well-groomed.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.

Working Hours

As per the restaurant shift schedule. Flexibility to work during peak breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours is required.

Salary

₹ 15000 to 18000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
