Key Responsibilities-

- Incoming Inspection: Inspect raw materials, components and packaging materials for quantity, dimensions, specifications, appearance and quality before acceptance.
- In-Process Inspection: Conduct first-piece, stage-wise and random inspections during production to identify and control defects.
- Process Quality: Ensure production follows approved drawings, samples, specifications and quality standards.
- Finishing & Assembly: Check surface finish, colour, dimensions, assembly, fitment and functionality.
- Final Inspection: Inspect finished goods for appearance, dimensions, workmanship, functionality and customer requirements before packing.
- Packing Inspection: Verify product, quantity, packing method, labels, markings and packaging quality.
- Pre-Dispatch Inspection: Conduct final inspection before dispatch and ensure only approved goods are loaded.
- Rejection & NCR: Identify, segregate and report defective materials/products and raise NCRs where required.
- Corrective Action: Coordinate with Production and other departments to identify root causes and prevent repeat defects.
- Quality Records: Maintain incoming, in-process,



final and pre-dispatch inspection reports and rejection/rework records.
- Measuring Instruments: Ensure inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Customer Requirements: Ensure products meet approved samples, drawings, specifications and buyer requirements.
- Quality Improvement: Monitor rejection, rework and customer complaints and suggest actions to improve overall quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- 2-5 years of experience in QC within Builder Hardware/Manufacturing Industry
- Knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges etc)
- Understanding of finishing processes such as Polishing, Plating, Lacquering and Powder Coating is preferred, Familiarity with ISO standards and quality systems.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Valuable Communication and reporting skills.
