Position Title: Senior HR Manager
Department: CGH Earth Corporate HR
Location: Corporate Office
Reporting To: GM – HR

Role Purpose
The Senior HR Manager – Leisure leads strategic and operational HR across all CGH Earth Leisure and wellness properties. Serving as the primary link between Corporate HR and property operations, this role guides property HR Managers, embeds CGH Earth’s values, and drives the transformation from transactional HR to strategic business partnering.

Key Operational Skills & Expectations

Backward Planning: Ability to plan backward from strict target dates.
Corporate Governance & Confidentiality: Deep understanding of corporate office confidentiality and high-stakes operations.
Profit-Oriented Reporting: Ability to generate business-focused HR reports that show clear ROI and contribute directly to profitability.
Documentation & Compensation: Strong grip on payroll, remuneration structures, and detailed HR documentation.
Daily Alignment: Maintain active, daily touchpoints and seamless communication with the AVP – HR.
Transactional to Transformational: Shift property-level HR teams from daily administrative work to high-impact business partnering.
System Building & Auditing: Design robust HR systems and lead continuous unit-level compliance and HR audits.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Leadership & Multi-Property Governance
Provide overall HR leadership, guidance, and direction across all Leisure and wellness properties.
Act as the direct HR partner to Property Heads, General Managers, and Operations Leadership.
Coach, mentor, and set transparent expectations for property-level HR Managers.
Ensure unit HR practices fully align with corporate HR policies,



standards, and values.

2. Manpower Planning & Recruitment
Lead manpower planning and headcount management with Operations teams across all units.
Review unit vacancies, recruitment priorities, and hiring pipelines regularly.
Partner with Corporate Recruitment to close critical, leadership, and niche positions on time.
Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, offer-to-join ratios).
Create innovative hiring strategies tailored for remote and challenging resort locations.

3. Employee Relations & HR Governance
Guide property HR teams on complex employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
Maintain complete documentation, policy adherence, and formal workplace records.
Track employee relations trends across properties and implement corrective actions.

4. Talent Management & Development
Identify high-potential employees and build succession pipelines for critical roles.
Partner with L&D; on leadership, capability building, and internal staff mobility across units.
Implement effective retention strategies for high-performing employees.

5. Performance Management System (PMS)
Drive the timely execution of goal-setting, mid-year, and annual performance reviews.
Support Property Heads and HR Managers in evaluating employee performance and identifying trends.

Employee Engagement & Culture
Lead engagement initiatives ensuring CGH Earth’s values and culture are felt across all units.
Monitor engagement survey feedback and ensure property teams complete action plans.
Strengthen communication networks between Corporate HR and unit HR teams.

7. HR Analytics & Profitability MIS
Maintain and analyze key metrics across all properties: headcount cost, attrition, vacancies, absenteeism, engagement scores, PMS status, training hours, and employee relations cases.
Present consolidated HR dashboards to senior leadership with actionable business insights linked to profitability.

8. Compensation, Benefits & Budgeting
Work with Corporate HR and Finance on manpower budgeting, salary structures, and benefit plans.
Monitor market competitiveness and support labor cost optimization.

9. Statutory Compliance
Ensure total property-level compliance with labor laws, regulations, and statutory records.
Coordinate with Corporate Legal/HR teams on major compliance or regulatory matters.

10. New Property Launches & Business Initiatives
Lead HR pre-opening planning, workforce setup, and system implementation for new resorts or restructured business units.

Requirements & Competencies
Education: MBA / PGDM / Master's degree in Human Resources (or equivalent). Additional HR certifications are a plus.
Experience: 10–12+ years of progressive HR experience, with proven multi-property management across luxury hotel groups, resort chains, or hospitality corporate offices. Strong experience dealing with senior leadership and General Managers is required.
