Role Summary:

- Track status of key reconciliations (bank, loan book, collections, vendor, intercompany) for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare reconciliation summary dashboards and highlight ageing
- Conduct preliminary Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring mismatches and implement preventive controls.
- Recommend updates or improvements to existing SOPs and RCM
- Review manual journals for correctness, supporting documents, and accounting rationale
- Support in ensuring compliance with Ind AS and applicable accounting standards.
- Conduct periodic ledger scrutiny and control testing for highrisk areas
- Participate in evaluation of key control designs and testing for operating effectiveness.
- Review RCM, segregation of duties, and approval hierarchies.
- Support in driving corrective actions for recurring failures.
- Review TB schedules for logical consistency and reversals; highlight gaps for senior review.
- Support analytical validation of provisions using trend and variance analysis
- Maintain GL ownership dashboards to drive discipline and accountability across teams
- Support in Preparation of ficial close packs covering reconciliation status, judgemental areas, and significant accounting movements for senior management /CFO review




- Run exception checks and develop targeted analytics to detect billing spikes, split/backtoback invoices, workflow bypasses, and reimbursement anomalies; escalate highrisk items
- Perform vendor master validations to detect duplicates and shell risk indicators.
- Translate findings into datadriven insights and action recommendations.
- Work with Tech and Fice Team to reduce manual interventions and recommend workflow strengthening
- Suggest automation in reconciliation, exception monitoring, and reporting processes to improve control efficiency and reduce risk exposure.
- Liaise with internal and statutory auditors on ficial control matters.
- Ensure audit readiness of control documentation
- Coordinate with Ficial Reporting, Expense, Ops, and Tech teams to resolve control or reconciliation gaps.
- Provide analytical inputs to senior / CFO during ficial close.
