Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 6 months – 2 years (Freshers can also apply)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspection of components as per drawings and quality standards
- Check dimensions using instruments like Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge
- Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, and specifications
- Identify and report defects / non-conformities in products
- Maintain inspection reports, check sheets, and quality documents
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality plans, and ISO standards
- Support root cause analysis & corrective actions (CAPA)
- Coordinate with production & quality teams for issue resolution
- Ensure proper tool calibration and usage
- Follow safety, 5S, and company policies
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of quality inspection tools & techniques
- Basic understanding of mechanical components & manufacturing processes
- Ability to use measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, gauges)
- Valuable observation & attention to detail
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports)
- Knowledge of ISO / Quality standards is an added advantage
Eligibility:
- ITI (Fitter / Turner / Machinist) OR
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in automotive / manufacturing industry preferred
