· Core Responsibilities

· Machine Setup & Calibration: Secure raw wooden sheets to set mechanical origins ($X, Y, Z$ zero points), and select/install appropriate router bits (upcut/down cut spiral bits, V-carving bits, ball nose mills).

· G-Code & File Execution: Load G-code/NC files translated from CAM software (Art CAM, Vectric Aspire, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD). Verify toolpaths, spindle speed (RPM) and feed rates prior to starting operations.

· Precision Routing & Carving: Execute 2D contour cutting, 3D relief engraving, bevelling, pocketing for LED wiring and inlay joinery for multi-layer dimensional signage.

· Quality & Dimensional Control: Inspect finished cuts against shop drawings using callipers, depth gauges and tape measures. Monitor for edge burning, material chatter or tool wear and adjust machine parameters on the fly.

· Material & Waste Management: Optimize sheet layouts to minimize wood waste. Handle proper dust extraction during high-velocity cutting of MDF and solid woods.

· Routine Machine Maintenance: Perform daily checks on spindle cooling systems, clean linear guides and ball screws, lubricate moving parts, and replace worn collets or cutting bits.
