Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PHE / Fire Supervisor to supervise and coordinate plumbing, public health engineering (PHE) and fire-fighting works at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, manpower coordination, quality control and ensuring timely completion of works as per approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day PHE and fire-fighting works at the project site.

Execute and monitor plumbing works including water supply, drainage, sanitary and rainwater systems.

Supervise installation of fire-fighting pipelines, hydrant systems, sprinkler piping and related equipment.

Read and understand PHE, plumbing and fire-fighting drawings.

Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, specifications and project standards.

Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, HVAC, Interior and other MEP teams.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and site manpower.

Allocate daily work and monitor workforce productivity.

Check line, level, alignment, pipe routing and installation quality.

Monitor material requirements and ensure proper utilization of materials.

Inspect incoming materials and ensure they meet approved specifications.

Coordinate pressure testing, flushing and testing of plumbing and fire-fighting systems.





Identify site issues and coordinate with engineers for timely resolution.

Monitor daily progress and report status to the Project Engineer / MEP Manager.

Maintain daily work and manpower reports.

Assist in quantity measurements and contractor billing verification.

Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices at the site.

Support snag rectification, testing, commissioning and final handover.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of PHE, plumbing and fire-fighting systems.

Hands-on experience in pipe installation and site execution.

Ability to read and understand MEP drawings.

Good knowledge of fire-fighting systems, hydrants and sprinklers.

Strong manpower and contractor coordination skills.

Good understanding of construction site practices and safety standards.

Robust problem-solving and coordination skills.

Ability to manage work within project timelines.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Plumbing or relevant technical qualification.

3–5 years of relevant site experience in PHE / plumbing / fire-fighting works.

Experience in residential, commercial or interior fit-out projects will be preferred.
