Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Executive / Store In-Charge with 6+ years of experience to manage the complete material and inventory operations at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for material receiving, inspection, storage, stock control, issue and reconciliation while ensuring proper documentation and timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day store and inventory operations at the project/site.

Receive materials from vendors and verify quantity and specifications against purchase orders and delivery challans.

Inspect materials for quality and report shortages, damages or discrepancies.

Maintain proper GRN, material inward/outward and stock records.

Issue materials to site teams based on approved material requests.

Maintain accurate stock registers and ensure proper inventory control.

Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the concerned team about replenishment requirements.

Coordinate with Procurement, Project Managers, Site Engineers, QS and Accounts teams.

Maintain proper storage and handling of civil, electrical, plumbing, hardware, carpentry and interior materials.

Ensure proper identification, stacking and storage of materials to avoid damage and wastage.

Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.





Track material consumption and prepare stock and material reconciliation reports.

Monitor material movement between warehouse and project sites.

Maintain records of returned, damaged, excess and unused materials.

Coordinate with vendors and transporters for material deliveries.

Ensure timely availability of materials as per project requirements.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports for management.

Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and security of the store.

Implement FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal checks.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of store and inventory management.

Experience handling construction and interior project materials.

Positive knowledge of GRN, stock registers, material issue/return and reconciliation.

Strong knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple material requirements and work under deadlines.

Good vendor and transporter coordination skills.

Qualification

Diploma / Graduate preferred.

6+ years of relevant experience in stores/inventory management.

Experience in construction, interior fit-out, real estate or project-based organizations will be preferred.
