Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Medical Biller (Trainer) at GrowAI Edtech. The trainer will design and deliver online training sessions on medical billing processes, with a focus on medical terminology, insurance guidelines, Medicare rules, and ICD-10 coding. Day-to-day tasks include preparing teaching materials, conducting live or recorded classes, explaining billing workflows and denial management, and providing practical examples and case studies. The trainer will assess learner progress, give constructive feedback, answer questions, and update course content to reflect current regulations and best practices.



Collaboration with the curriculum team to refine learning modules and ensure high-quality, learner-centered instruction is also part of the role.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and its application in medical billing and documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Denials management, including identifying causes, correcting claims, and resubmitting effectively.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in ICD-10 coding and its use in claim submission and reimbursement processes.
- Candidates should possess solid understanding of Insurance guidelines and Medicare policies relevant to billing and compliance.
- Prior hands-on experience as a medical biller or coder, preferably in outpatient or hospital settings.
- Experience in training, teaching, or mentoring adults in a virtual learning workplace is highly beneficial.
- Clear, structured communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple, accessible language.
- Comfort with online tools and learning platforms, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Relevant certification in medical billing/coding or healthcare administration is a plus.
