Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Post Processor Engineer to join our team. The position will be based in India, with the successful candidate supporting post processor development activities for customers, partners, and internal teams across the APAC region.

The role will primarily involve providing remote technical support and post processor development for customers, partners, and internal teams across the APAC region. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their machining requirements and develop solutions that enable efficient and accurate communication between SolidCAM and CNC machine tools.

Occasional travel within the APAC region may be required based on project and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate remotely with customers, partners, and internal teams across the APAC region to develop customized NC post processors for SolidCAM CAD/CAM systems.
- Develop and optimize post processors to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of CNC machine operations.
- Analyze customer machining requirements and provide technical solutions for various CNC machine configurations and controllers.
- Provide remote technical support and collaborate with regional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming, machine output, and post processor functionality.
- Conduct research and technical assessments related to CAD/CAM solutions to further enhance the manufacturing capabilities of end users.
- Mentor interns and provide technical guidance and expertise to team members.




- Collaborate effectively with global and regional teams in a dynamic and innovative work environment.
- Travel occasionally within the APAC region when required for customer projects, technical support, or business needs.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in CAD/CAM technology, CNC machining, programming, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience working with CAD/CAM systems, preferably with SolidCAM, Siemens NX Manufacturing, ESPRIT, or Mastercam.
- Hands-on experience with CNC controllers, such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Mazak, and Heidenhain.
- Solid understanding of CNC machining operations and machine tools, including Milling, Turning, and Mill-Turn.
- Proficient knowledge of G-code and M-code programming for CNC machines.
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Mill-Turn and Swiss-type machines would be an added advantage.
- A genuine interest in software development with strong hands-on coding abilities.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, partners, and global teams.
- Ability and willingness to work remotely with teams and customers across different countries and time zones.
- Willingness to undertake occasional travel within the APAC region, depending on project and customer requirements.
