Job Description: Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance

Location: South Mumbai (Full Time)

Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Summary

The role requires robust financial acumen, analytical skills, regulatory understanding, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, merchant bankers, legal advisors, investors, regulatory authorities, and senior management. The incumbent will assist in financial planning, reporting, compliance, IPO-related activities, treasury management, investor relations support, and strategic projects while ensuring adherence to corporate governance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Treasury & Working Capital Management

- Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and fund utilization.
- Assist in managing working capital requirements, especially inventory.
- Support debt management, banking documentation, and lender reporting

2. IPO & Capital Market Activities

- Support IPO/listing-related projects and coordinate with merchant bankers, legal counsels, registrars, auditors, and consultants.
- Maintain data rooms and documentation for investor and regulatory reviews.
- Coordinate responses to queries from regulatory authorities and advisors.

3. Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Assist in preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements.




- Conduct variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cost optimization studies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Prepare management information system (MIS) reports and financial dashboards.

4. Compliance & Corporate Governance

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, Companies Act, SEBI regulations, stock exchange requirements, and other statutory provisions.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and facilitate timely closure of audit observations.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring internal financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Support secretarial and compliance teams in board governance matters.

5. Manufacturing & Inventory Finance Support

- Analyze production costs, inventory valuation, wastage, and margin trends.
- Assist in monitoring precious metal inventory controls and reconciliation processes.
- Support implementation of financial controls across manufacturing operations.
- Evaluate cost efficiencies and process improvement opportunities.

6. Investor Relations Support

- Assist in preparation of investor presentations, earnings materials, and shareholder communications.
- Support analyst interactions and investor meetings.
- Compile industry, competitor, and market intelligence reports.

Qualification & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant
- 3–8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in listed companies, capital markets, manufacturing, jewellery, retail, or FMCG sectors preferred.
