Job Title: Entertainment Reporter

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

- Write clear, engaging, and error-free stories in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

- Identify and develop original stories in the domains of entertainment, city life, and lifestyle.

- Report on the Kannada and South Indian film and television industries, leveraging prior reporting experience in the field.

- Ensure timely delivery of stories and meet editorial deadlines consistently.

- Create multimedia content, especially short-form videos, to accompany written articles.

- Monitor and capitalize on social media trends to generate engaging content.

- Collaborate with editors and designers for page-making tasks including editing and proofreading.

- Attend press conferences, premieres, and industry events to gather exclusive insights.





- Conduct interviews with celebrities, influencers, and key figures in the entertainment industry.

- Maintain journalistic ethics while sourcing and publishing content.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Excellent command of English with strong writing and editing skills.

- Working knowledge of Kannada and familiarity with the local film and TV scene.

- Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field (preferred).

- Previous experience in entertainment reporting is a plus.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.

- Proficiency in video production and editing tools is an advantage.

- Solid understanding of digital media and social media platforms.
