- Design develop and implement cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) using Terraform. This includes creating and managing resources like virtual networks compute instances storage databases and other cloud services.Automation and IaC:
Develop and maintain Terraform modules templates and configurations to automate the provisioning scaling and management of infrastructure resources.
Work closely with DevOps teams cloud architects and software engineers to understand requirements and implement infrastructure solutions that support application deployments and operational needs.
Implement and manage CI or CD pipelines for Terraform configurations to ensure automated consistent and reliable deployments.
Monitor Terraform deployments and the resulting infrastructure troubleshoot any issues and ensure the stability and performance of cloud environments.
Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards within the Terraform configurations and the provisioned infrastructure.
Optimize cloud resource usage and costs through efficient Terraform configurations and resource management.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure designs Terraform configurations and operational procedures.
Proven experience in designing developing and managing infrastructure using HashiCorp Terraform.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud). Preferably on Azure.
Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and best practices.
Experience with version control systems particularly Git for managing Terraform code.
Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI or CD pipelines.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with various stakeholders.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include Azure Administrator Associate or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent cloud DevOps credentials relevant to Azure and Terraform.
