Your Work Profile

- We are looking for a highly experienced Space Sector Expert with 8+ years of experience to support investment promotion, policy advisory, industry development, and stakeholder engagement initiatives in the space and aerospace sector.
- The ideal candidate should possess robust expertise in the Indian and global space ecosystem, including satellite manufacturing, launch systems, space applications, commercialization, and policy frameworks, along with a thorough understanding of emerging opportunities in the NewSpace economy.

Key skills required:

- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the Space & Aerospace sector focusing on value chain/sectoral analysis/investment promotion/policy formulation/industrial development activities/etc.
- Strong understanding of the global space industry and Indian space ecosystem, including ISRO, IN-SPACe, NSIL, private space companies, and international space agencies.
- Experience in investment promotion, policy formulation, project appraisal, investment strategy, investor facilitation, and industry development initiatives.
- Knowledge of satellite systems, launch vehicles, propulsion technologies, avionics, payloads, ground systems, and space-based applications.




- Understanding of the space sector value chain, including upstream (manufacturing and launch services), midstream (ground infrastructure), and downstream (applications and services).
- Experience in engaging with industry stakeholders, government departments, space agencies, research institutions, startups, and investors.
- Familiarity with Indian Space Policy, FDI regulations, satellite communication regulations, remote sensing guidelines, and international space governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Experience in organizing industry consultations, investor summits, business development initiatives, and ecosystem-building activities.
- Knowledge of emerging areas such as Earth Observation (EO), SATCOM, Navigation, Geospatial Technologies, Space Data Analytics, Space Sustainability, and NewSpace Startups.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Avionics, Space Technology, Physics, or allied disciplines.

- Base location: Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
