Quest for Success (QFS)Location: Bengaluru / HyderabadEmployment Type: Full-timeExperience: 8+ yearsAbout Quest for SuccessQuest for Success (QFS) is an education and university admissions organization supporting students aspiring to study at leading universities across the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, Europe and other global destinations.For over 12 years, we have worked with ambitious students and families across India and internationally.Our students have received admissions and offers from institutions including UC Berkeley, Cornell, Brown, University of Chicago, NYU, LSE, UCL, Imperial College London, NUS and many others.As we expand our presence across Bengaluru and Hyderabad, we are looking for an exceptional Senior College Counselor – University Admissions to join our counseling leadership team.About the RoleThis is a senior, high-ownership position for an experienced college counseling professional who can independently guide students and families through the complete undergraduate university admissions journey.This is not simply an application-management role.The successful candidate will be expected to provide strategic counseling across academic planning, profile development, university selection, application strategy, essays, interviews and final university decisions.The individual will also contribute to strengthening QFS's overall counseling practice and mentoring other members of the counseling team.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop personalized undergraduate admissions strategies for studentsCounsel students and parents on university and major selectionBuild strategic and balanced university shortlists based on academic profile, interests, career goals and admissions competitivenessGuide students on academic planning, extracurricular development, research, internships, competitions,



summer programs and other profile-building opportunitiesAdvise students on admissions strategy for highly selective universitiesGuide and review Common App, UC, UCAS and other international university applicationsProvide strategic guidance and feedback on personal statements, supplemental essays, resumes/activity lists and other application materialsAdvise students on Early Decision, Early Action and Regular Decision strategies for US universitiesSupport students preparing for university interviewsConduct regular counseling meetings with students and parentsTrack application timelines, requirements and student progressStay current with changes in international university admissions policies and requirementsCollaborate with QFS counselors, mentors, faculty and leadership on student strategyMentor and support junior members of the counseling teamHelp strengthen counseling processes, quality standards and best practices across QFSCandidate ProfileWe are looking for someone with:8+ years of substantial experience in college counseling, university guidance or international undergraduate admissionsDeep knowledge of US undergraduate admissions, particularly highly selective universitiesStrong understanding of the Common Application and University of California application systemGood understanding of UK undergraduate admissions and UCASExperience with Oxbridge and other highly selective UK universities would be an advantageExperience counseling students applying to destinations such as Singapore, Hong Kong,
