Application Development Full-Stack Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Development Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will develop and maintain global applications used to finance our dealers and customers. You will work across all phases of software creation—from ideation to deployment—leveraging lean agile practices and applying appropriate design patterns for each use case. This position offers the opportunity to produce clean, high-quality code that meets rigorous cyber security standards while managing technical debt and delivering new functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

- Write high-quality, testable code that satisfies customer needs while striving for simplicity and clarity in a collaborative team environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders (business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and end users) to understand functional and non-functional requirements
- Investigate and propose business and technical solutions to development and design problems, participating in scope of work estimation and forecasting
- Promote and investigate architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and collaborative programming techniques to ensure high-quality business outcomes
- Improve performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues across multiple skill teams
- Adhere to established development practices and processes while advocating for continuous improvement
- Coach and mentor junior software engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence
- Work on each phase of the software creation lifecycle, considering appropriate design patterns and cyber security standards




- Handle ongoing technical debt requirements while delivering new functionalities

Required Experience

- 6+ years of experience in IT
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Practical experience in 2 coding languages OR advanced proficiency in 1 language
- Strong proficiency in several coding languages (e.g., Java, Java Script)
- Experience with application development in cloud environments (Open Shift, GCP, Azure)
- Deep understanding of Dev Ops and CI/CD principles and practices
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)

Education
