Design Lead - BIOS, Test/Interface/Uc Board Design, CPU

Banglore, Karnataka

Job Summary

- Familiar with design of Networking Hardware based on x86 processor, packet processor, high end datapath FPGA and high speed SERDES interconnect

- Hands on Board design experience as a lead engineer

- System level knowledge involving mechanical and thermal solutions, chassis design considerations, Signal integrity, Power distribution, EMI/EMC, Safety and Hardware compliance test

- Knowledge on Multi-gigabit Serial interfaces like PCIe, XFI,SFI, GAUI etc.

- Knowledge on PCIe GEN1/2/3 Physical layer and protocol, DDR4 memory subsystem design, Highspeed SERDES technology and PCB layout practices.

- Technology knowledge on Packet Switching, IEEE1588, Y.1731, 400G Ethernet, OTN are added advantage

- Work independently, provide mentor-ship and have robust leadership skills

- Self-motivation, teamwork and strong communication skills are essential

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the bios design, test/interface/uc board design, and cpu design projects from concept to production.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define design requirements and specifications.
3. Conduct design reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
4. Develop and implement design strategies to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency.
5. Troubleshoot design issues, analyze test results, and make recommendations for improvements.
6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to bios, test/interface/uc board design, and cpu.
7. Mentor and train team members to enhance their design skills and capabilities.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in bios design, test/interface/uc board design, and cpu design methodologies.
2. Strong knowledge of hardware design principles, circuit design, and schematic capture.
3.



Experience with bios development tools, testing methodologies, and debugging techniques.
4. Familiarity with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and systemonchip (soc) architectures.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, present design proposals, and documentation.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in bios, Test/Interface/uC Board Design, and CPU design are a plus.
