About the Role
Nexgen IT Solutions & Services is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to support our Sales and Technical teams in understanding customer requirements, proposing suitable IT solutions, preparing technical proposals, and supporting the sales process from requirement gathering to solution presentation.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Enterprise IT Solutions, along with strong communication and customer-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities
Understand customer business and technical requirements.
Conduct requirement gathering and technical discussions with customers.
Recommend suitable IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions.
Prepare BOM, technical proposals, solution documents and presentations.
Coordinate with OEMs, distributors and internal technical teams for solution design and product selection.
Support the Sales team during customer meetings and technical presentations.
Explain product features, technical benefits and solution architecture to customers.
Compare products and solutions based on customer requirements, specifications and budget.
Coordinate for product demos, POCs and technical evaluations.
Provide technical clarification during the quotation and proposal stage.




Support the Sales team in converting opportunities into successful orders.
Visit customer sites for requirement gathering, surveys, technical discussions or presentations whenever required.
Maintain updated knowledge of emerging IT and cybersecurity technologies.

Required Technical Knowledge
Candidates should have good knowledge or understanding of Cybersecurity and IT Solutions, including:
AIOps & IT Infrastructure Management
Cybersecurity
Web Application & API Security
Cloud Solutions
Managed IT Services
IT Infrastructure
Firewall & Network Security
Endpoint Security
Networking and basic IT infrastructure concepts
Understanding of enterprise IT products and solutions
Note: Candidates do not necessarily need to be experts in every technology, but they should have a strong technical foundation and the ability to learn and understand new IT solutions quickly.
Education

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology, preferably:
B.E. / B.Tech – Computer Science
Information Technology
Electronics & Communication
Cybersecurity
Related technical disciplines
Candidates with relevant IT industry experience and strong technical knowledge may also be considered.





Language Requirements – Mandatory
The candidate must be proficient in all three languages:
English
Kannada
Hindi
Robust verbal and written communication skills are required for customer interaction and technical discussions.
