About the Role

Chandigarh University invites applications from passionate academicians and researchers for the position of Assistant Professor//Associate Professor in Biotechnology Engineering. Key Responsibilities

- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biotechnology Engineering and related areas.
n
- Develop lesson plans, laboratory exercises, assessments, and learning resources aligned with academic standards.
n
- Conduct high-quality teaching using innovative and technology-enabled pedagogical approaches.
n
- Mentor students in academic, research, innovation, and career development activities.
n
- Guide student projects, internships, capstone projects, and research initiatives.
n
- Contribute to curriculum development, revision, and enhancement activities.
n
- Engage in research, publications, patents, funded projects, and scholarly activities.
n
- Participate in conferences, workshops, faculty development programs, and academic forums.
n
- Support accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance initiatives.
n
- Contribute to departmental, School, and University-level academic and administrative activities.
n

Eligibility Criteria

n

n
- Ph.D.



in Biotechnology Engineering / Biotechnology / Biochemical Engineering / Bioengineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized University (Mandatory).
n
- Strong academic background with demonstrated interest in teaching and research.
n
- Research publications in reputed journals will be preferred.
n
- Experience in handling laboratories, research projects, and student mentoring will be an added advantage.
n

Preferred Profile

- Candidates from premier institutions such as IITs, NITs, IISERs, Central Universities, National Institutes, or internationally reputed universities will be preferred.
n
- Demonstrated research potential through publications, patents, funded projects, or innovation activities.
n
- Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary research and industry collaborations.
