About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Science Teacher to join a reputed coaching institute in Rajkot. The ideal candidate should be able to make Social Science engaging, conceptual, and exam-oriented for students of Classes 8–10.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Teach History, Geography, Civics & Economics to Classes 8th–10th.
n
- Deliver engaging and concept-focused classroom lectures.
n
- Prepare students for CBSE & GSEB board examinations.
n
- Explain difficult concepts using practical examples, maps, current affairs, and visual learning methods.
n
- Prepare and conduct class tests, assignments, quizzes, and revision sessions.
n
- Analyse student performance and provide individual guidance where required.
n




- Complete the syllabus according to the institute's academic schedule.
n
- Prepare students for board exams and competitive-level academic assessments.
n
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and student-friendly classroom environment.
n
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding syllabus planning and student progress.

Candidate Requirements

n

n
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Social Science / History / Geography / Political Science / Economics or a relevant field.
n
- 1–3+ years of teaching experience preferred.
n
- Experience teaching CBSE and/or GSEB students will be an advantage.
n
- Excellent communication skills in English.
n
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
n
- Ability to explain concepts in a straightforward and effective manner.
n
- Passionate about teaching and helping students achieve strong academic results.
