Job Description

To provide first aid, nursing care, health monitoring and emergency medical support to students and staff and maintain a safe and healthy school environment.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n

n
- Provide first aid and immediate nursing care for students and staff.
n
- Attend to injuries, illness, fever, accidents and medical emergencies.
n
- Maintain and manage the school infirmary and first-aid kits.
n
- Maintain student medical records, treatment records and incident reports.
n
- Monitor students with known medical conditions, allergies and special health requirements.
n
- Administer authorized medicines as per school policy and maintain medication records.
n
- Inform parents/guardians and the Principal regarding serious illness, injury or medical emergencies.
n
- Coordinate with doctors, hospitals and emergency services when required.
n
- Assist in health check-ups, health screenings, medical camps and vaccination programmes.
n
- Promote hygiene, nutrition, personal health and healthy habits among students.
n
- Maintain cleanliness and proper stock of medicines and medical supplies.
n
- Provide medical support during sports, school events,



educational trips and other activities.
n
- Maintain confidentiality of student medical information.
n
- Follow school safety, emergency and child-protection procedures.
n

Qualification

n

n
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
n
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
n
- First Aid / CPR certification preferred.
n

n

Experience

n

n
- 1–2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
n
- School or pediatric experience will be an advantage.
n

n
