Reinsurance Underwriting & Placement – Delhi

Role Overview:

n

We are looking for a professional with experience in Reinsurance Underwriting & Placement to manage day-to-day reinsurance activities, including risk assessment, placement, negotiations, documentation and coordination with clients, insurers and reinsurers.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Handle reinsurance underwriting and placement activities across relevant lines of business.
n
- Review submissions, assess risks and support underwriting decisions.
n
- Coordinate with cedants, brokers and reinsurers for quotations and placements.
n
- Negotiate terms, pricing, limits and conditions with reinsurers.
n
- Manage policy documentation, renewals, endorsements and other operational activities.
n




- Maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers and business partners.
n
- Ensure timely closure of placements and accurate documentation.
n
- Support the team in developing new business and servicing existing accounts.
n

Ideal Candidate:

n

n
- 2–8 years of experience in Reinsurance Underwriting, Placement or Broking.
n
- Positive understanding of reinsurance products, terms and processes.
n
- Strong negotiation, coordination and communication skills.
n
- Experience in both placement and operational aspects of reinsurance will be preferred.
n
- Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Delhi.
