Job Posting: Senior Manager – Sales & Business Development (Cargo & Transport)

nCompensation: ₹10,000,000 – ₹1,200,000 per annum (₹10 – ₹12 LPA) + Performance Incentives + Travel Allowances
nEmployment Type: Full-Time
nTravel Requirement: Up to 10–12 days per month across branch networks and outstation hubs
nAbout the Role
nWe are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Manager – Sales & Business Development to spearhead our commercial growth, branch expansion, and client acquisition across Maharashtra and Gujarat. In this role, you will lead a regional team of Sales Managers and Area Managers, drive revenue across existing and current cargo routes, and establish our presence in emerging markets.
nKey Responsibilities
n1. Revenue Growth & Client Acquisition
n· Drive end-to-end business development, pipeline generation, and strategic client acquisition across surface transport, cargo, and logistics networks.




n· Identify high-volume B2B enterprise accounts, negotiate commercial terms, and secure long-term service agreements.
n· Expand wallet share by cross-selling new lanes, multi-modal routes, and value-added logistics services to existing corporate clients.
n2. Team Leadership & Regional Management
n· Lead, mentor, and track the performance of Sales Executives and Area Managers across Maharashtra and Gujarat.
n· Set regional sales targets, KPIs, and daily/weekly pipelines; conduct regular reviews to ensure quota attainment.
n· Support ground teams during high-stakes client negotiations and contract closures.
n3. Network & Branch Expansion
n· Identify strategic outstation locations and industrial clusters for branch expansion.
n· Lead the commercial launch of new branches, ensuring rapid client onboarding and fast ramp-up to profitability.
n· Travel regularly (approx. 10+ days/month) to key logistics corridor
