About the Role

- We are looking for an experienced Vice President - Investment Banking to take a leadership role in managing M&A; and private capital transactions for SMEs and mid-market companies.
- The VP will play a central role in transaction execution, seller onboarding, buyer and investor engagement, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
- This is a hands-on leadership position suited to an experienced deal professional who can independently manage multiple live transactions while mentoring analysts and associates.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Execution

- Lead the execution of live M&A;, capital raising, and corporate finance transactions
- Manage end-to-end transaction timelines, workstreams, and deal processes
- Coordinate with clients, buyers, investors, lawyers, advisers, and other stakeholders
- Identify and resolve transaction bottlenecks and execution risks
- Drive transactions toward successful completion
- Maintain strong execution discipline across multiple concurrent mandates

Seller Onboarding & Client Management

- Engage with prospective sellers, founders, and business owners
- Assess transaction readiness and suitability of potential mandates
- Guide clients through onboarding, preparation, and transaction processes
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the deal lifecycle
- Ensure expectations, timelines, and deliverables are effectively managed

Buyer & Investor Engagement

- Support buyer and investor identification, outreach, and engagement
- Facilitate introductions between sellers, strategic buyers, investors, and relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate transaction discussions and follow-ups
- Maintain momentum across buyer and investor conversations throughout the deal process

Team Leadership

- Manage and mentor analysts, associates,



and other execution professionals
- Allocate transaction workstreams and oversee team deliverables
- Review financial analysis, transaction materials, research, and other work products
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality
- Improve internal transaction processes, workflows, and execution efficiency
- Support the development of junior investment banking professionals

Requirements

- 7+ years of relevant experience in M&A; execution, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate finance, private equity, or corporate development
- Demonstrated involvement in completed M&A;, capital raising, or corporate finance transactions
- Experience independently managing multiple live transactions and transaction workstreams
- Experience managing, reviewing, or mentoring analysts and associates
- Strong understanding of M&A; processes, transaction execution, and stakeholder coordination
- Prior transaction exposure across Southeast Asia or other international markets would be preferred
- Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment
