We are looking for a Design Engineer to handle end-to-end design deliverables for solar power projects — from site survey and layout design to drawing preparation, client coordination, and design approvals.
Key Responsibilities
Proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope and SketchUp for layout design
Preparation of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
Preparation of Project DBR (Detailed Bid Report) and DPR (Detailed Project Report)
Client and contractor coordination
Design review of all consultant drawings, and obtaining design approval from client
Preparing design estimates
Conducting site surveys (topography, hydrology, soil testing, etc.)
Load assessment and STADD analysis
Issuing design drawings to site level
Maintain and update design documentation across multiple project sites




Ensure design quality and compliance with IS, IEC, NABL and UL standards
Prepare 2D/3D simulations and drawings as per client and site requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope and SketchUp
Understanding of solar PV system design fundamentals
Solid coordination and communication skills for client and contractor interactions
Willingness to travel for site surveys as required
