Company Description Magic Bus India Foundation, founded in 1999, works to help young people move out of poverty and lead fulfilling lives while positively contributing to their communities. The organization focuses on enabling adolescents to complete secondary education and supports young adults with skills that lead to sustainable employment and entrepreneurship. Through its Childhood to Livelihood programme, Magic Bus reaches young people aged 12 to 24 years, impacting more than 1 million individuals across 24 states and 75 districts in India. It operates 240 Community Learning Centres, engages with 2,342 schools, and runs 80 Livelihood Centres along with 8 Entrepreneurship Incubation Centres. Its programmes build life skills, strengthen education, enhance employability, and mentor budding entrepreneurs from underserved communities.
Role Description The Mobilization Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and enrolling eligible adolescents and young adults into Magic Bus’s Childhood to Livelihood programmes.



Day-to-day tasks include conducting outreach in communities, schools, and partner organizations; organizing awareness sessions and orientation meetings; and maintaining accurate records of participants and mobilization activities. The Mobilization Officer will coordinate with programme teams to ensure timely batch formation, support retention of participants, and track mobilization targets. The role also involves building relationships with local leaders, families, and stakeholders, gathering feedback from the community, and contributing insights to improve mobilization strategies.
Qualifications
Experience in community outreach, field mobilization, or social work in underserved communities.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to conduct group sessions and one-on-one interactions.
