JOB PURPOSE

Support Lucy Electric's procurement function by sourcing, developing, and
managing suppliers for direct and indirect materials, ensuring cost-effective
procurement, quality compliance, and uninterrupted material availability to
support manufacturing operations.

JOB CONTEXT

* Individual contributor role within the Purchasing & Materials function.
* Responsible for supplier development, sourcing, negotiation, procurement
planning, and cost optimization.
* Works closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, and global
procurement teams.

JOB DIMENSIONS

* Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply of materials to support
production schedules.
* Achieve annual cost reduction targets through strategic sourcing and
negotiations.
* Maintain supplier delivery performance and quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procurement
procedures.




* Support localization and supplier development initiatives.
* Manage RFQs, supplier evaluations, contracts, and procurement documentation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

These will include:

* Source and develop suppliers in line with company purchasing policies and
quality requirements.
* Obtain quotations, analyze commercial offers, and conduct techno-commercial
evaluations.
* Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial
agreements with suppliers.
* Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams for current supplier and component
development.
* Review engineering drawings, specifications, and material requirements before
sourcing activities.
* Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.
* Identify and implement cost reduction and value engineering opportunities.
