About the Role
We are looking for a motivated MERN Stack Developer – Trainee who is passionate about web development and eager to build real-world applications using modern JavaScript technologies.
As a trainee, you will work closely with experienced developers to learn, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
Key Responsibilities
Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using the MERN stack.
Build reusable and maintainable React.js components.
Develop backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
Work with MongoDB for data modelling, queries, and database operations.
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
Understand and implement authentication, authorization, and basic application security.
Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
Debug issues and troubleshoot application errors.
Perform basic testing and participate in code reviews.
Use Git/GitHub for source-code management and collaboration.
Learn and follow software development best practices.




Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver assigned tasks.
Continuously learn new technologies and improve development skills.

Required Skills
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Basic to good knowledge of React.js.
Understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
Basic knowledge of MongoDB and database concepts.
Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
Good problem-solving and logical-thinking skills.
Willingness to learn and work on real-world projects.

Valuable to Have
Experience with TypeScript.
Knowledge of Redux or other state-management libraries.
Understanding of JWT/OAuth authentication.
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
Experience with any academic, personal, or final-year project using the MERN stack.
