Job Title: Retail Merchandise Manager

Job Summary
The Retail Merchandise Manager will oversee merchandise planning, inventory control, product presentation, and sales performance for 4+ retail stores. This role ensures the right products are available in the right quantity at the right stores to drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Merchandise Planning & Strategy
Create merchandise strategies to meet sales and margin targets across all retail stores.
Forecast demand and plan inventory levels based on sales trends, seasons, and promotions.
Coordinate with the Design and Production teams to ensure product availability.
2. Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels for each store; initiate replenishment and transfers as needed.
Work with logistics/warehouse to ensure timely and accurate stock dispatch.
Control and minimize stock variances, overstock, and stockouts.
3. Store Coordination
Communicate merchandise plans, promotions,



and product releases to all store teams.
Visit stores regularly to assess merchandising standards and provide guidance.
Ensure consistent product display and visual merchandising guidelines across stores.
4. Sales Performance & Reporting
Analyze sales performance by store, category, and product.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales and inventory reports.
Recommend merchandising actions to improve store performance and sell-through.
5. Pricing & Promotions
Assist in pricing strategy development for products across different stores.
Plan and monitor promotions, markdowns, and pricing adjustments.
Evaluate promotional effectiveness and impact on sales.
6. Customer Insights
Collect feedback from store teams on customer preferences and market trends.
Share insights with Design, Production, and Marketing teams to influence future collections.
7. Team Management
Supervise and support store merchandising leads or assistants.
