Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Executive (CPA) to take on a senior finance role within our Pune finance team, working closely with the Senior Finance Manager on core financial operations, month-end close, and business reporting. This role offers significant scope for growth as our finance function scales, with robust potential to progress into broader finance leadership over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
Lead the month-end close process ensuring highly accurate financial reporting.
Oversee journal entries, adjustments, accruals, and provisions.
Reconcile and analyze complex account balances.
Leadership & Collaboration
Guide and mentor junior finance team members.
Drive cross-functional collaboration, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement process improvements for business continuity.
Partner closely with the Senior Finance Manager on strategic and operational finance matters.
Reconciliation & AP/AR Management
Oversee bank, credit card, and payment gateway reconciliations.
Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle, vendor compliance, and accurate receivables aging/collections.
Strategic Finance & Ad-Hoc Operations
Partner with internal stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Prepare executive-level financial reports and ins
